DATA MART always is on the lookout for masterminds. We permanently seek employees with relevant experience in Business Intelligence (BI) / Data Warehousing (DWH) as well as university graduates with degrees in Business Studies, Business Informatics, Information Technology or Mathematics. Training / Further Education
DATA MART Consulting GmbH is one of the leading BI and DWH consulting firms. In order to secure our future business success we are bound to permanently be at the cutting edge of knowledge on commercial issues and technologies. Naturally, planning of personnel training and development activities is an inherent part of our daily work. These activities include product-related certification and regular consulting workshops for further education and exchange of experiences.

Personal Development
Regular personnel coaching guides our employees through the various levels of qualification, beginning at Junior Consultant and followed by Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant and finally ending at Consulting Manager. Responsibility is assigned at an early stage at any job level.

  • Experience in the design and management of Data Warehouse projects
  • A personality capable of holding one’s ground as a project manager in a sometimes difficult political environment
  • University study related to Business Studies and/or Information Technology
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse architecture and data modelling
  • Mastery of technologies used in our projects such as:
    • Relational data base:
      Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2
    • Daten management (ETL) tools:
      Oracle Warehouse Builder, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator, IBM WebSphere, Informatica, SAP BODI
    • OLAP Server:
      Oracle Hyperion Essbase, Oracle OLAP Option, Microsoft SSAS, IBM Cognos TM1
    • Business Intelligence Tools:

Your Field of Responsibility

  • Analysis and optimisation of business processes and data flows

  • Conception of the target DWH architecture
  • Modelling, development and implementation of Data Warehouse data bases
  • Conception and implementation of applications, reports and queries for the analysis and evaluation of business information

Our Requirement Profile

We expect certainty in technical questions concerning consolidated financial accounting per German Commercial Code or IAS and some experience in computer assisted group consolidation using standard software.

You are expected to know how to define the methods and calculations used in group consolidation, particularly using these elements:

  • Foreign currency transaction methods
  • Intercompany reconciliation / elimination
  • Segment reporting
  • Deferrals and reconciliation from German Commercial Code to IAS
  • Elimination of shareholding and capital consolidation
  • Mastery of one or better yet several of the technologies used in our projects such as:
    • Financial consolidation:
      Cegid Financial Consolidation & Reporting (FCRCS), Oracle Hyperion Enterprise/HFM, SAP BO BPC

In addition to a focus on business accounting you should have an interest and an affinity for financial database-driven systems and/or software packages; ideally you got your feet wet already. Your profile is rounded off with practical experience and knowledge of related current information.

  • We require successfully completed university studies related or equivalent to Business Studies and/or Information Technology.
  • Excellent German language skills and mobility

Your Fields of Activity

  • Your consulting activities will focus on the development of information systems using Data Warehouse and OLAP technologies at well-known international companies in Germany and Switzerland.
